On Monday, 14 October 2019, the Youth Welfare Department has organized a symposium entitled (The Importance of Sports in a Society) in the presence of Olympic champion Captain Karam Gaber and many students were keen to attend. The symposium was directed by Prof. Mari Madkour, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Mass Communication. The symposium dealt with prestigious championships and honorable sports role models who passed various challenges and obstacles in their journey to reach global competitions and accomplished great scores in the name of their country Egypt. In addition, Captain Karam Gaber directed an invitation to the youth assuring them the importance of playing sports because of its great role in the society
