A delegation from Faculty of Medicine, Louisville University (Kentucky State, U.S.A.), visited October 6 University on Thursday 7th of May 2015. The members of the delegation were: Prof. Dr. David Hein the Vice President of Louisville University, Prof. Dr. Christopher States the Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Prof. Dr. Steve Myers Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology. The Delegation was met by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Attia Seida, President of October 6 University; Prof. Dr. Kheireldin Abdellatif, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees for International Strategies and Cultural Relations; Prof. Dr. Dawlat El-Miligy, Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Prof. Dr. Mafmoud Kohel The Dean of Faculty of Pharmaceutics . The aim of the visit was to discuss the scopes of cooperation between the two Universities as a preparatory step to reach a scientific agreement between both Universities . The projected activities include exchange of students and staff, training programs, postgraduate Master and Ph. D degrees as well as scientific research. This was followed by a tour in the University library, Faculty of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Medicine and the University Teaching Hospital.
