The College of Applied Arts attaches great importance to the community service sector and environmental development through its vision and mission in support of community participation and development of self-resources as well as the nature of the college’s study and its applied design projects that have a close relationship to studying community needs and working to develop them through innovative ideas that contribute to improving the environmental situation in The community in line with Egypt's vision 2030, in addition to setting up the necessary mechanisms to link applied projects and scientific research results to community service in a way that contributes to increasing the close connection between the college and labor market organizations, believing in the importance of permanent development of the community service sector in line with Egypt Vision 2030 and in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development. A plan for continuous development is as follows:
- Developing a community development plan based on a study of needs, and working on developing the surrounding community through the application of innovative ideas and visions.
- Supporting communication with community parties through various means, including training courses and marketing of applied scientific research.
- Developing cooperation between the college and the surrounding community by signing cooperation protocols with various community parties.
- Developing and activating the work plan of the units of a special nature in the college to increase the sources of income of the college and to meet the needs of the diverse community through the specializations of the college.
- Developing the part of the follow-up of graduates by constantly updating their database and facilitating communication between them and the labor market
- Developing a plan to improve the environmental situation inside and outside the university by supervising laboratory security methods, disposing of harmful waste and contributing to the application of safety and health systems..
