Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of 6th of October University, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amr Nadeem, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University, the Community Service Sector at the Faculty, headed by Prof. Dr. Ezzat Al-Gharib, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in cooperation with the Equal Opportunities and Women's Empowerment Committee at the 6th of October City Authority, organized a seminar for the employees of the Authority as part of an initiative launched by the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery to educate the surrounding community about health "entitled Your Family's Health is a Trust", and the following lectured at the seminar:
- Prof. Dr. Ezzat Al-Gharib, Professor of Medical Parasitology and Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and spoke about intestinal worms (methods of infection, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and prevention methods).
- Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Raei, Professor of Hepatology and Gastroenterology at the Faculty of Medicine, October 6 University, spoke about stomach bacteria (methods of infection, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, complications, and prevention methods).
