October 6 University partook in the annual global event, “Earth Hour,” March 27, 2021 by switching off unnecessary light from 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. with a view to deepening the principle of rationalizing energy consumption to confront global warming. On the verge of the event, a number of students of the University Cultural Committee and some administrations lit candles, delivering a symbolic message to the internal and external society regarding the importance of preserving the environment and the role of the youth in supporting Egypt Plan 2030 and accomplishing sustainability development goals, SDGs.
