The Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, October 6 University, with the organized coordination of the two community service affairs in the Faculties of Applied Arts and Economics and Administration, the "Productive Student" initiative was held in its first edition under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Gamal Sami, President of October 6 University - Dr. Nevine Al-Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity - Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Salah Hashem, Advisor to the Ministry of Social Solidarity for Policies and Development Advisor to the Ministry of Social Solidarity for Policies and Social Development, representing the Ministry of Social Solidarity, on Wednesday, 3/4/2024, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz opened the seminar, welcoming the attendees, deans and vice-deans of faculties, faculty members, their assistants and students, and the University guest , Prof. Dr. Salah Hashem stressed that October 6 University is the only private university with which the Ministry of Social Solidarity cooperates so far and occupies the 31st place at the level of Egyptian public and private universities, the productive student initiative has been activated, which aims to promote the spirit of Belonging begins towards his university and extends to his homeland The initiative provided students with a set of workshops, training courses and lectures to enable them to make small projects. Conversation moved to His Excellency Prof. Dr. Gamal Sami, President of the University, who began his speech, stressing that the Ministry of Social Solidarity is a model of thought, effort and activity, which enables it to prove its social presence on the ground, then the productive students at the university were honored, and before the honoring, Prof. Dr. Hana Al-Kazazz kindly introduced the initiative and the colleges participating in it, namely the Faculty of Applied Arts, the Faculty of Economics and Administration, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, the Faculty of Education, and professors faculty members participating in teaching in workshops, training courses and scientific lectures during the initiative period, which began on 31/8/2023 and ended by 9/19/2023, and then holding an exhibition for the student's productive products to develop the spirit of belonging among students and encourage them to self-employment, entrepreneurship and the establishment of small projects, and this initiative also serves the goals of sustainable development and Egypt's vision 2030.
