October 6 University participated in the Fifth Annual Conference of the Heritage Verification Center at the National Library and Archives, held on October 28–29, 2025, under the title **“Re-verification of Heritage: Reality and Feasibility.”** The conference coincided with the celebration of the World Day for Intangible Cultural Heritage and was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fouad Heno, Minister of Culture, and Prof. Dr. Osama Talaat, Chairman of the Board of the National Library and Archives and President of the Conference.

The university was represented at this academic forum by **Dr. Sulaiman Ibrahim Mohamed El-Balkimy**, Instructor of Syntax, Morphology, and Prosody at the Faculty of Education. He presented a research paper titled **“The Journey of ‘Mughni al-Labeeb an Kutub al-A’areeb’ by Ibn Hisham in Verification: From Mohi al-Din to Fakhr al-Din.”** The study examined the verification of this important grammatical work through ten editions, starting with the edition by Sheikh Mohamed Mohi al-Din Abdel Hamid (1937) and concluding with the edition by Dr. Fakhr al-Din Qabawa (2018). The research addressed a crucial question: Is there a need for all these editions of a single work? It concluded by emphasizing the necessity of establishing precise, strict, and agreed-upon standards for re-verifying any previously verified work, and directing the efforts of verifiers toward unverified heritage texts instead of repeating publications without sufficient scholarly justification.

The participation garnered significant interaction from attendees due to the research’s scholarly vision and serious critical approach to verification efforts in Arabic grammatical heritage, thereby enhancing October 6 University’s presence in the fields of scientific research and the service of authentic Arabic heritage.
