As part of the Ministry of Culture's cultural season and the second round of the "Strength in Our Youth" initiative, October 6 University, represented by the Faculty of Education, participated in an educational lecture titled "The Role of Art in Influencing Society." The lecture was delivered by A. Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shafie, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education at October 6 University, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, in the hall of the Supreme Council of Culture.

The seminar was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fouad Heno, Minister of Culture, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Al-Azzazi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Culture, and Mr. Wael Hussein Ismail, Head of the Central Administration for Cultural Sectors and Committees.
During the lecture, Dr. El-Shafie emphasized that art plays a pivotal role in shaping collective consciousness, highlighting human values, and reinforcing cultural identity. He explained how artistic creativity contributes to driving positive change within Egyptian society.
