The launch of the first health convoys, Faculty of Nursing, October 6 University
under the auspices of a. Dr. Gamal Sami, President of the University and Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the College of Nursing organized a health convoy entitled “For You We Came” in the village of That Al-Koum - Mansha’at Al-Qanater - Giza on Friday, 12/31/2021, in partnership with the Colleges of Dentistry and the College of Dentistry. Pharmacy and the College of Health Sciences, in cooperation with the Life Makers Association, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sabah Al-Sharqawi, Dean of the College, Wa. Dr. Soraya Ramadan, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The participating students and faculty members measured blood pressure and blood sugar levels, and health education was conducted for the people of the village for early detection of chronic diseases. The convoy included internal clinics, women, children and teeth, and medicines were dispensed Necessary for patients according to the doctors' instructions, and a charity clothing exhibition was held for the people and an entertainment festival for children
