 The College of Applied Arts organized a symposium on "Innovation in sustainable design to reduce climate change" for the lecturer, Prof. Soheir Othman (Rapporteur of the Plastic Arts and Architecture Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs at Helwan University and full-time professor at the Department of Textile Printing, Dyeing and Processing) on ​​Thursday, 11/17/2022, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Gamal Sami, President and Professor Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mona Abu Tabl, Dean of the College of Applied Arts, as part of the college’s community participation activities for the new academic year 2022-2023 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rehab Abdel-Fattah, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, with distinguished participation from members The faculty, students and civil society representatives represented by the Hawanem Al-Bashayer Association

Prof. Dr. Suhair Othman stressed the importance of using natural, environmentally friendly colors in creating innovative designs by displaying many products for her creative designs.
