🌟 A Successful Scientific Day... As usual, the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging Technology shines again! 🌟
In an atmosphere of pride and achievement, and amidst the distinguished presence of senior university leaders, the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging Technology organized a remarkable scientific day today, under the patronage of Prof. Dina Ezzat, Dean of the College, and the Vice Deans:
Prof. Soha Ahmed, Prof. Amal Sabry, and Prof. Mohamed Abdullah.
✨ It was a great honor to have His Excellency the University President, Prof. Mamdouh Ghorab, and His Excellency the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Yasser Dakrouri, in attendance. They expressed their admiration for the level of organization and the effort exerted by the department's students and faculty members, and praised the innovative topics and the high scientific level that reflects the academic excellence achieved by the college.
🎯 The scientific day was organized by Dr. Mohamed Sameh, the department's general supervisor, with the participation of the organizing committee:
Assistant Lecturer/ Iman Zaghloul, and Teaching Assistant/ Mohamed Ibrahim. Teaching Assistants Morcos Marzouk and Nourhan Mamdouh also participated by delivering a distinguished lecture that enriched the day's events.
🎓 Students from the department presented engaging and innovative presentations addressing the future of radiology technology and the role of artificial intelligence and simulation in developing practical training on modern radiology equipment. These students were: Ahmed Mostafa, Ali Gawish, and Iman Ibrahim.
The event was further honored by a rich lecture from Professor Dr. Mahasen Amin Abu Jabal, Professor of Nuclear Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. Her lecture covered the advancements in breast cancer diagnosis using the latest radiology technologies and their role in increasing recovery rates and improving the quality of medical care.
🌟 Siemens Healthineers Academy also participated in the scientific day with a lecture delivered by Engineer Ahmed Shaheen. His lecture covered the academy's training programs, modern medical equipment, and simulators, along with a presentation on artificial intelligence applications in radiology technology.
The great enthusiasm and spirit of cooperation between students and faculty members created a joyful atmosphere of pride and belonging, reinforcing the belief in a bright future for this creative generation of radiology technologists who will play a prominent role in developing healthcare services in Egypt.
