As part of the College of Applied Health Sciences Technology's commitment to enhancing practical application and bridging the gap between academic studies and labor market demands, third-year students in the Biomedical Devices program participated in a distinguished field training program. This program, conducted in collaboration with Smart Medical and Commercial Solutions, comprised 40 training hours and involved 24 students.

The program included a field visit to Electromedica, a specialized factory located in Sadat City on the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road. There, students observed the manufacturing processes of X-ray machines and C-arm devices used in operating rooms, learning about operational mechanisms and production lines through active participation with specialized engineers at the factory.

The training also covered several important topics, including project management, personal development, crisis management, and job market readiness. Furthermore, it introduced students to the applications of artificial intelligence in the field of medical devices and its role in developing the healthcare system. The program also included practical training in partnership with Al-Matjar Al-Tibbi Company, which specializes in equipping healthcare units and intensive care rooms. Operating room equipment and ventilators were demonstrated, broadening students' understanding and enhancing their practical experience.

The college affirms its ongoing commitment to providing outstanding training opportunities for its students, contributing to the development of graduates who are scientifically and practically qualified and capable of meeting the demands of the job market.
