The Department of Nutrition Technology and Food Safety organized a distinguished scientific activity on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, as part of the Medicinal Plants course. The activity aimed to bridge the gap between theory and practice and to develop students' innovation and creativity skills.
The activity included a student exhibition showcasing a range of innovative natural products, including:
🌱 Natural skincare creams containing aloe vera, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid.
🕯️ Aromatic therapeutic candles with peppermint oil to promote relaxation and improve breathing.
💆♀️ Natural hair and body masks and oils. This activity contributed to developing scientific research, presentation, and teamwork skills, and raised awareness of the importance of medicinal plants and their various uses in the health, food, and cosmetic fields.
