**A New Achievement Added to the Faculty's Student Record!** The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology at 6th of October University extends its heartfelt congratulations to the **Gulorina** team from the Biotechnology Department for their outstanding achievement.
They were selected as one of the top 3 teams out of 20 from various universities in the semi-finals of the Rally Egypt Entrepreneurship Competition, hosted by Al-Ahram Canadian University on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, and have qualified for the final stage.
This achievement stems from their medical project, “Aegis,” which aims to develop advanced wound dressings that accelerate the healing process, reduce the risk of infection, and provide an innovative, locally produced alternative to support the medical sector.
