An Awareness Lecture on Academic Reference Standards at the Faculty of Health Sciences Technology
As part of the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology's commitment to disseminating and promoting a culture of quality and academic accreditation, the Faculty's Quality Assurance Unit organized an awareness lecture entitled "The Concept of Academic Reference Standards" on Sunday, May 23, 2026, in Hall (6119) at the College.
The lecture targeted teaching assistants from various academic programs. Dr. Nashwa Abbas, Director of theFaculty's Quality Assurance Unit, presented the lecture, which covered the definition of academic reference standards and their importance in developing educational programs and ensuring the quality of learning outcomes.
The lecture also highlighted the pivotal role of teaching assistants in implementing quality standards and their active participation in continuous improvement activities, which supports the Faculty's efforts towards academic excellence and achieving its goals in the field of quality and accreditation.
