Graduation Projects… From Student Idea to Applied Model Serving Training and the Job Market

As part of the Education and Student Affairs Sector's commitment at the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology, 6th of October University, to supporting applied education and developing students' research and practical skills, final-year students in the Radiology and Medical Imaging Technology Department presented their graduation projects for the 2025-2026 academic year.
These projects were not merely a graduation requirement, but rather educational and applied models reflecting the students' ability to utilize their acquired knowledge and skills to provide innovative solutions for enhancing training in the field of medical imaging.
The projects varied, ranging from designing interactive CT simulation systems that mimic the clinical work environment and imaging procedures, to manufacturing phantom models for training in X-ray and ultrasound imaging, enabling safe, reproducible, and cost-effective training. The importance of these projects lies in their support of one of the most important principles of modern health education: providing a safe training environment without exposing patients or students to unnecessary risks. This is achieved while reinforcing the ALARA (Accessible Radiological Safety and Assessment) principle, developing students' decision-making skills, understanding imaging protocols, and connecting technology with practical application.
This underscores the college's and the Student Affairs Department's commitment to preparing graduates with the knowledge, skills, and innovative capabilities to meet the needs of the job market in the fields of radiology and medical imaging technology.

Congratulations to our outstanding students, and we wish them continued success and excellence in their academic and professional careers.
