The students of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, October 6 University, won the first and second place in the “Alamein Robotics Championship ARC” competition.
Students of the Mechatronics Department at the Faculty of Engineering, October 6 University, won the first place in the mine detection competition and the second place in the robotics competition, as part of the activities of the first session of the ARC International Robotics Competition in the new city of El Alamein, which was held during the period from 3 to 5 March, and was organized by the Research Academy Science and Technology in cooperation with the Creativity Center in Borg El Arab represented by Etisal Association, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, the Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology and the International University of El Alamein within the activities of the “Alamein Robotics Championship ARC”.
More than 74 teams participated in the competition. And about 700 students from various public, private and private universities and institutes.
A number of universities also participated, for example, but not limited to (Nile University, Alexandria University, Damietta University, Mansoura University, Helwan University, Zewail University, the Naval Academy, Jordan University and delegations from Algeria and Bolivia, ITI Institute)
