Today, the Faculty of Engineering held a scientific conference entitled Towards Sustainable Communities
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Dr. Gamal Samy, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Eman Mahmoud Al Azizi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Kamel Abdel Latif Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. The guest of honor of the conference was Minister Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aty, former Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation. His Excellency delivered a lecture entitled Water Management in Egypt, Opportunities and Challenges. The conference was preceded by an exhibition of scientific activities for students of the Faculty of Engineering from various departments and projects funded by the Academy of Scientific Research. Then Prof. Dr. Ismail Mohamed Hafez, President of the Conference and Dean of the College, welcomed the guests, and on that the speech of Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, then the speech of Prof. Dr. Eman Mahmoud Al-Azizi, then the lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aty, former Minister of Water Resources, then Prof. Dr. Eman Mahmoud El-Azizi honored his honor
After that, the activities of the conference were launched in 4 research halls, and 24 research papers from all disciplines were presented
