The Faculty of Applied Arts - October 6 University organized at exactly one o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 the exhibition “Art and Design.. Recycling” within the framework of the initiative of the community service sector in the college “Art and Design. Think of recycling various materials in line with the goals of sustainable development and Egypt’s 2030 plan
And based on the college’s belief in the importance of the role of the interior designer as an active member of the Egyptian state system, and the importance of scientific institutions adopting the state’s goals and participating in achieving them.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the guests, Major General Eng. Hisham Abu Senna - Captain of Cairo Engineers, Prof. Dr. Mostafa El-Sherbiny - Secretary General of the International Federation of Sustainable Development Experts, and Mr. Dr. Mohsen Hussein Shaheen - Advisor to the Council of Ministers - Vice Chairman of the Engineers Club, and a number of professors attended From the college and abroad and a large number of students
The exhibition included more than 50 products representing the recycling of various materials, including, but not limited to (cardboard - plastic - pipes - wood waste - glass - foam - vinyl - various metals - ....)
At the end of the exhibition, the praise of all the attendees of the exhibits and their innovative design ideas and their desire to display products in their institutions was recorded.
