Participation of Faculty of Applied Arts in the awareness convoy of the Egyptian Japanese School – Sunday 20/10/2024

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mona Abu Tabl, Dean of the Faculty and the Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs, and in cooperation with the Inspiring Minds family; students: Salma Khaled Mohamed - Preparatory Year - Shahd Omar Ali - Third Year - Fatima Mahmoud Hassan - Third Year - Sama Zakaria Mahmoud - Preparatory Year - Ziad Hazem Sayed - Preparatory Year - Ziad Amr Sadek - Preparatory Year - Heidi Mustafa Ahmed - Third Year - Hagar Abdel Aziz - Third Year - Yemeni Ali Mohammed - Third year, under the Supervision of Dr. Reham Ehab the pioneer of inspiring minds gathering, The Faculty of Applied Arts, October6  University, participated in the awareness convoy of the Egyptian Japanese where the  awareness and education were carried out at more than one stage to suit the age stage, in the nursery stage, children were taught to draw and color and face coloring activity was done for all the nursery students. In the primary stage, students were educated on how to be animal welfare, how to take care of oneself and proper ways to wash hands while maintaining not wasting water, and incomplete geometric shapes were drawn and requested to be completed, which produced wonderful shapes that the student relies on completing on imagination, and a competition was held among students to choose the best drawings, and the winners were given in-kind prizes. The aim of the visit was to achieve Egypt's Vision 2030 and achieve some of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as Goal 4 (Quality Education, 5 Gender Equality, 6 Clean Water and Sanitation, and 10 Reducing Inequalities).
