Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of October 6 University, and Minister Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity, the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Al-Oqbi, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity for Strategic Communication, Media and General Coordinator of Solidarity Units in Egyptian Universities, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz - Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Azizi - Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Following-up and General Coordination Prof. Dr. Hanaa El-Kazazz, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts for Community Service and Environmental Development Prof. Dr. Thuraya Ramadan Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development- Faculty of Nursing, The Social Solidarity Unit at October6  University, in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent, implemented the REDWEEK campaign, the campaign aims to achieve Egypt's Vision 2030 and achieve some sustainable development goals -by investing the energies of university youth by enhancing their awareness of the importance of volunteer work and their role in community service, the campaign seeks to introduce students to the role of the Social Solidarity Unit within the university and introduce them to the fields of volunteering within the Egyptian Red Crescent and focus on spreading the culture of volunteering and encouraging students to engage in community activities.
