Documents required to apply for the academic year 2023/2024
• Egyptian high school certificate
• An original high school diploma or transcript of grades approved by the General Administration of Examinations or the educational administration to which the student belongs.
• The original birth certificate and registration certificate from the university where the student was registered last year
• A scanned copy of the ID card or passport.
• A copy of the ID card of the student’s guardian (father - mother)
• Secondary school outside the Arab Republic of Egypt (Arab equivalent secondary school).
• The original high school certificate certified by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry
• Original birth certificate
• 6 personal photo

• For Saudi certificates, you must attend the aptitude test
• For the Yemeni certificate, the preparatory certificate and the first, second and third grades of secondary school are provided
• A letter of residence for the student and his guardian for the Sudanese and Yemeni certificates for a full academic year
• American diploma certificate:-
• The original certificate + the original school GPA for the tenth - eleventh - twelfth grades, certified by the General Administration of Examinations and notarized by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry for those who obtained the certificate from outside the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• Private education informs that the student is studying according to the American system. Schools (from outside Egypt) A letter from AMIDEAST in Dokki stating that the school is accredited within the Association of American Schools. (SAT-ACT-EST) + (USERNAME + PASS)
• Notarized certificate
• The Egyptian preparatory school certificate or the entire academic sequence from (G1) to (G12) is certified. In the case of studying outside Egypt, it is authenticated by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry or a letter from the Ministry of Education stating that the student has met the requirements for obtaining the stages of pre-university education.
• An Arabic language and religious education test certified by the educational administration.
• Notarized birth certificate.
• Form 2 Jund for male students.
• Form 6 soldiers for male students born in 2004 AD.
• A copy of the student card or passport + a copy of the guardian’s card or passport.

• English Secondary Certificate (IGCSE)
• To accept English high school certificates, the student must have studied 8 subjects at the ordinary level, with a minimum grade of (C), provided that all certificates are documented by three authorities: (British Council - Egyptian Foreign Ministry - General Administration of Examinations)
• The Egyptian preparatory school certificate or the entire academic sequence from (G1) to (G12) is certified. In the case of studying outside Egypt, it is authenticated by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry or a letter from the Ministry of Education stating that the student has met the requirements for obtaining the stages of pre-university education.
• An Arabic language and religious education test certified by the educational administration.

Application steps and procedures for new students to apply for the academic year 2024/2025
• Enter the university’s website www.o6u.edu.eg, fill out the data, and upload the required papers.
• The file value and the first installment fees are paid (in case of candidacy).
• The student, upon appearing in high school, completes the original documents with all the required documentation immediately after the announcement of the high school results.
• The papers are reviewed by the University’s Department of Education and Student Affairs and are arranged according to the highest total of applicants daily.
• In the case of initial acceptance, a message is sent to the student’s email. The student goes to the Education and Student Affairs Department and brings the originals of previous certificates and papers.
• Application is made according to the minimum set by the Secretariat of Private Universities.
• In the event that the student fails to attend to complete the admission procedures and deliver the original documents within a week from the date of the message that is sent to the student from the university on the student’s email, it is considered a waiver by the student of admission and the prescribed refund rules are applied to him.
• Payment of any financial sums is not considered a condition for valid admission to the college for which the student is nominated, and this payment will not be taken into account against the university in the event of refusal of admission by the Ministry of Higher Education.
Refund rules are in accordance with the decisions of the Private Universities Council
• The value of the first installment will be refunded in full in the event that the student is not finally nominated by the university or obtains a score less than the minimum determined by the Council of Private Universities and the minimum for the university’s internal coordination.
• If the student’s papers are withdrawn before the beginning of the academic year, 10% of the value of the first installment will be deducted.
• In the event that the student’s papers are withdrawn from the first day of study for a period of one month, 50% of the value of the first installment will be deducted.
• After one month has passed from the start of studies, the student is not entitled to recover any sums of money, regardless of the date of payment of tuition fees
• The file value is not returned
Conversion rules
• He must meet the university admission requirements and the college admission requirements to which he requests to transfer, in a manner that does not conflict with the decisions of the Council of Private and Private Universities.
• The student must have studied at his university for at least 18 credit hours or at least a full semester.
• The student wishing to transfer will not be exempted from any course in which he obtained a grade less than a grade of C according to the attached table.
• The student wishing to transfer will not be exempted from any course for which he/she did not pass his previous requirement, regardless of his degree of success in this course.
• Only courses that lead to the student obtaining an overall cumulative GPA of no less than 2.0 are counted.
• The number of credit hours that the transfer student is required to study at October 6 University must not be less than 60% of the number of credit hours required to obtain a bachelor’s degree from October 6 University in the required specialty.
• He must not have been dismissed from his university for disciplinary reasons. If it becomes clear to October 6 University that he was dismissed from his university for disciplinary reasons, his registration will be considered canceled from the date of accepting his transfer to the university.
