Admission Procedure
Article (4)
As instituted by the Coordination Office of Egyptian Universities minimum requirements, the Faculty accepts undergraduate students who successfully attained Egyptian Thanaweya Amma /General Secondary School Certificate or any approved equivalent certificates. Students who hold Egyptian Thanaweya Amma and majored in science section are admitted on the condition that s/he sits for an aptitude test and a Thanaweya Amma standardized equivalent tests in mathematics and English courses only. Other tests maybe specified by the Faculty Council according to the requirements of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities.
Required Documents
Applicants must provide the following official documents:
I. Egyptian Thanaweya Amma/General Secondary School Certificate
· Original Thanaweya Amma Certificate
· Original birth certificate
· 6 personal photos
· Photocopy of National Identification Card
· For Egyptian male students: Original Military Service Form (Form 2 Gond)
· For Egyptian male students whose date of birth is 1994 or prior: Original Military Service Deference Form (Form 6 Gond)
II. Thanaweya Amma/General Secondary School Certificate (From Arab Countries)
· Original Thanaweya Amma Certificate authenticated by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
· Original birth certificate authenticated by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
· 6 personal photos
· Photocopy of passport
· For Egyptian male students: Original Military Service Form (Form 2 Gond)
· For Egyptian male students whose date of birth is 1994 or prior: Original Military Service Deference Form (Form 6 Gond)
III. British Secondary Education Certificates
· Original British secondary education certificate authenticated by the British Council and the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
· Original birth certificate
· Study Sequence Certificate (providing evidence of complete compulsory education or complete Egyptian preparatory education followed by secondary education for a period of three years)
· Photocopy of passport or National Identification Card
· For Egyptian male students: Original Military Service Form (Form 2 Gond)
· For Egyptian male students whose date of birth is 1994 or prior: Original Military Service Deference Form (Form 6 Gond)
· 6 personal photos .
IV. American High School Diploma
· Original High School Diploma authenticated by the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau, Washington DC and the Egyptian Ministry of Education
· Original SAT test certificate approved by the AMIDEAST and the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
· Original birth certificate
· Study Sequence Certificate (providing evidence of complete compulsory education or the completion of Egyptian preparatory education followed by American high education for a period of three years)
· A document of three years of high schooling issued by the Educational Administration within your district
· Username and Admin
· For Egyptian male students: Original Military Service Form (Form 2 Gond)
· For Egyptian male students whose date of birth is 1994 or prior: Original Military Service Deference Form (Form 6 Gond)
· 6 personal photos
· Photocopy of passport or National Identification Card
V. Transfer Required Documents
· Statement of Student Status and course work if the university located inside Egypt accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, and approved by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, if the university located outside Egypt.
· Officially stamped course content from the local university(s) you attended, accredited by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education. In case the University is located outside Egypt the course content is approved by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
· Fulfilment of admission requirements as per your secondary school certificate (mentioned above).
VI. Admission Procedure
· A student submits all the required documents at the Office of Admission and Registration at the University;
· The required documents are submitted to employee(s) of the Office of Admission and Registration equivalence, review and consideration for admission;
· Upon notification of acceptance, the student heads to the Office of Treasury;
· The student heads to the Office of Admission and Registration once more to receive the student's file and complete the entry of student's data;
· Upon completion of registration, submit the student's file to employee(s) of the Office of Admission and Registration for final review and registration in the University databases
· Upon receiving a payment of order tuition fees are paid at the Office of Treasury, a date is set for a medical test and a personal identification card is issued.
