Under the patronage and supervision of Prof. Dr. Hinar Abu El-Majd, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs at the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty launched an important awareness campaign aimed at rationalizing water and electricity consumption within the university campus. This campaign comes within the framework of the Faculty's efforts to enhance environmental awareness among students and the university community, and encourage sustainable practices to preserve natural resources.
The campaign includes several activities aimed at teaching students, faculty members and employees the best ways to save water and electricity, with a focus on the importance of these resources and their impact on the environment. Interactive competitions and awareness seminars were also organized aimed at changing daily behaviors towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
Rationalizing resource consumption not only contributes to preserving the environment, but also enhances the community's ability to face future environmental challenges. This is to achieve the goals of sustainable development and ensure a better future for future generations.
The campaign continues throughout the academic year, and is expected to contribute to achieving tangible results and raising the level of environmental awareness inside and outside the university.
