Intellectual Property between Education and Scientific Research
 
As part of the Faculty of Engineering's commitment to raising awareness of intellectual property issues, the faculty participated in a symposium organized by the University's Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, entitled "Intellectual Property between Education and Scientific Research." The symposium was held in coordination with the Central Human Rights Committee.

Professor Hisham Temraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, delivered the opening remarks. This was followed by a lecture by Professor Yasser Gadallah, Dean of the Intellectual Property Institute at Helwan University and the symposium's guest speaker. The symposium was attended by Professor Henar Abu El-Magd, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development at the Faculty of Engineering, along with a group of faculty members and students. The symposium featured a wealth of interest in the symposium's themes and the rich discussions surrounding the importance of intellectual property protection in education and scientific research. The symposium concluded with an exchange of important discussions among the attendees, providing an opportunity to exchange views and experiences on the challenges and opportunities related to intellectual property and ways to enhance awareness of it in the academic community.
