Tree Planting

As part of October 6 University's commitment to supporting environmental initiatives and promoting a culture of sustainability, a fruit tree planting event was held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, as part of the Environment Week activities, under the supervision of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector. This event marked the opening of the week.

This initiative comes within the framework of efforts to spread environmental awareness and encourage students and the university community to take an interest in agriculture and afforestation and actively participate in environmental conservation.

The event witnessed the participation of Prof. Dr. Henar Abu El-Magd, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service at the Faculty of Engineering, along with a group of faculty members, support staff, and a number of students. All participants planted fruit trees on campus in an atmosphere characterized by enthusiasm and cooperation.

Participants emphasized the importance of these activities in strengthening a sense of belonging to the place and developing a sense of social responsibility among students. They emphasized the continuation of these activities throughout Environment Week.
