The Third Annual Scientific Conference, "Empowering the Future of Energy and Crisis Management"

Under the patronage of Prof. Mamdouh Mostafa Ghorab, President of October 6 University, the Faculty of Engineering organized the Third Annual Scientific Conference, titled "Empowering the Future of Energy and Crisis Management," on May 5, 2025, at the Faculty of Engineering building. The conference will be attended by a select group of academics and experts, including Prof. Iman El Azizy, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Hesham Kamel Tamrar, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The conference will also feature a distinguished group of specialists in engineering and scientific research, including Eng. Yanqing Gao, Chief Engineer at China State Construction International Co.
Dr. Nisreen El Sayed Mohamed, Director of the Design Department at the National Authority for Tunnels at the Ministry of Transport,
in addition to Prof. Nahed Mohamed Mustafa, Supervisor of the Research Ethics Committees at October 6 University and Professor of Clinical Toxicology at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
A group of faculty members and support staff also participated in the conference, presenting their research papers across various departments and fields. Student projects presented during the second semester in all departments were also part of the conference activities.
The conference aims to review the latest developments in the energy sector and discuss effective strategies to address global crises through in-depth discussion sessions and interactive workshops that provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and insights between academics, experts, and specialists. The conference is an important scientific platform for exploring innovative solutions for the future of energy, in light of current environmental and economic challenges, contributing to advancing research and development towards a more sustainable and secure future.
