Blood Donation Campaign in Cooperation with the Rotary Club of Shams October

As part of the College of Engineering's community-based role and its commitment to instilling values ​​of cooperation and social responsibility, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Henar Abu El-Magd, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, organized a blood donation campaign in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Shams October.
The campaign was attended by Professor Dr. Mahmoud Kamal, Dean of the College of Engineering, who praised the efforts of the Community Service Sector in organizing such humanitarian initiatives, emphasizing the importance of fostering a spirit of solidarity and giving among the college's students. The campaign was also attended by Dr. Hala Zidan, a member of the Rotary Club of Shams October, who commended the college's efforts in community engagement, emphasizing that such events contribute to raising awareness of the importance of blood donation and supporting the health system.

The campaign witnessed a remarkable turnout from faculty members, staff, and students, affirming the spirit of giving and belonging, seeking to support the needs of hospitals and blood banks, and raising awareness of the importance of blood donation as a humanitarian duty that contributes to saving the lives of others.

At the conclusion of the event, Professor Dr. Henar Abu El-Magd expressed her sincere thanks to all participants in the campaign, praising the college students' engagement and positive spirit. She emphasized that such initiatives embody the university's true role in serving the community and fostering human awareness.
