Egyptian National Security as a Cornerstone of State Stability
The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Engineering participated in a seminar delivered by Major General Pilot Hisham Al-Halabi, which addressed the topic of Egyptian national security as a cornerstone of state stability and its continued ability to achieve comprehensive development and protect its interests both domestically and internationally.
The guest speaker was interviewed by: Professor Dr. Ruqaya Shalabi, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and Professor Dr. Magda Saleh, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. The seminar witnessed significant interaction from students who showed great interest in the discussions and benefited from the topics presented, which aimed to raise awareness of the nature of the challenges and threats facing Egypt in light of rapid regional and international changes, and to highlight the strategies adopted by the state to confront these challenges and strengthen national security.
Also in attendance at the seminar were: Professor Dr. Mahmoud Kamal, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Professor Dr. Hinar Abu Al-Magd – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development at the Faculty of Engineering, along with engineers Nourhan Salah, Asmaa, and Mai, and a number of fourth-year students from the Mechatronics Department.
