Water and Electricity Conservation Awareness and Cybersecurity Awareness
As part of the Faculty of Engineering's role in community service and environmental development, a group of students, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hinar Abu El-Magd, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development at the Faculty of Engineering, participated in an awareness caravan organized by the Caravan Committee under the auspices of Dr. Samir Othman, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The students' role included raising awareness about the importance of conserving water and electricity, as well as cybersecurity and its role in protecting data and individuals' digital lives.
The awareness sessions covered methods and techniques for optimal electricity use and energy conservation in homes and facilities, an explanation of cybersecurity principles, an introduction to common digital risks and how to avoid them, and the importance of protecting personal data.
