Rejecting Violence Against Women
As part of activating the community role of Egyptian universities, an awareness seminar entitled "Rejecting Violence Against Women" was organized under the auspices and by the Faculty of Nursing, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Thuraya, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Heba, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The seminar aimed to raise community awareness about issues of violence against women, clarify its types and effects, and present ways to confront it and provide psychological and social support.
The Faculty of Engineering participated in the seminar activities through the attendance of Professor Dr. Hinar Abu El-Magd, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in addition to the attendance of a group of teaching assistants and a number of engineering students who showed great interest in the content presented and the role of youth in promoting a culture of respect for women and supporting their rights.
