The Role of Youth in Protecting Egyptian National Security in an Era of Challenges and Threats

As part of 6th of October University's commitment to supporting the role of youth in confronting societal challenges and enhancing national awareness, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector organized an important seminar entitled "The Role of Youth in Protecting Egyptian National Security in an Era of Challenges and Threats," under the auspices of the university's leadership.

The seminar was held under the patronage of:

Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz
Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development

This seminar is part of a series of events presented by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector aimed at raising student awareness and promoting their positive participation in protecting the nation's resources.

The seminar's title was:

"The Role of Youth in Protecting Egyptian National Security in an Era of Challenges and Threats."

The seminar was attended by a number of prominent figures in national and political work, most notably:

His Excellency Professor Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, who addressed the importance of raising national awareness among youth and the role of educational institutions in building a personality capable of facing challenges.

Major General Dr. Eng. Ahmed El-Shehat, Professor of Political Science and Regional and International Security Expert, addressed several key themes in his lecture, most notably:

The concept of national security and its dimensions.

The threats facing the Egyptian state in the modern era.

The role of technology and media in shaping awareness.

The importance of youth participation in countering campaigns directed against the state.

Participating Faculties
The seminar was organized in coordination with the following faculties:
Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology
Faculty of Engineering
Faculty of Information Systems and Computer Science
Faculty of Tourism.

The Faculty of Engineering at 6th of October University participated, represented by Professor Dr. Mahmoud Kamal, Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Hinar Abu El-Magd, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, several faculty members and teaching assistants, and a group of students. At the conclusion of the seminar, university leaders, guests, faculty members, and students took commemorative photos to document this important event and to express appreciation for the efforts made in its implementation.
