Raising Awareness of Fundamental Human Rights Concepts and Developing a Sense of Social Responsibility Among Students
As part of the Faculty of Engineering's role in promoting a culture of human rights within the academic community, a number of students participated in extensive awareness-raising activities organized on campus. These activities aimed to raise awareness of fundamental human rights concepts and cultivate a sense of social responsibility among students.
These events were held under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hinar Abu Al-Majd, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, who ensured full support for the success of the activities and the activation of students' role in serving the university community.
Participating students actively engaged with their peers on campus, explaining university rights and responsibilities and delivering simplified awareness messages designed to foster a conscious university environment based on respect and responsibility.
The events contributed to enhancing students' awareness of human rights issues and encouraged them to reflect on their responsibilities within the university. The activities were met with significant acceptance and interaction from students, underscoring the importance of continuing such initiatives within the university.
