Promoting a Culture of Safety and Security

As part of the Faculty of Engineering's commitment to promoting a culture of safety and security, Professor Dr. Hinar Abu El-Magd, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Islam El-Shafei, a faculty member, conducted awareness lectures for students on how to conduct a safe evacuation drill on campus.

The lectures aimed to educate students about the importance of evacuation drills and to familiarize them with the correct procedures to follow during emergencies, thus contributing to reducing risks and ensuring their safety within university facilities.

The lectures included a detailed explanation of evacuation steps, how to properly respond to emergency alarms, and clarification of escape routes and assembly points. They also emphasized the importance of students adhering to the instructions of the safety and security teams during the evacuation drill.

These activities are part of the university's ongoing efforts to raise awareness of safety procedures and achieve a safe learning environment.
