Awareness Caravan to Al-Shubak Village, Al-Badrasheen, Giza Governorate
As part of the Faculty of Engineering's community service and environmental development initiatives, and under the supervision of Professor Prof. Hinar Abu Al-Magd, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, students from the Faculty participated in an awareness caravan to Al-Shubak Village, Al-Badrasheen, Giza Governorate. The caravan was organized by the Faculty of Nursing at 6th of October University. The caravan aimed to raise community awareness and promote positive behaviors, addressing several important topics including:
Water conservation and preserving water resources
Electricity conservation and promoting a culture of responsible energy use
Raising awareness about the dangers of harassment and methods of prevention and safe interaction
Raising awareness about the dangers of addiction, its health and social effects, and methods of prevention. The students of the Faculty of Engineering actively contributed to the awareness campaign, reflecting their awareness of their community role and their keenness to participate positively in initiatives that serve the community.
This participation comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the university's various faculties and activating the role of educational institutions in supporting community issues and spreading health and behavioral awareness.
