The Role of Community Participation in Preserving the Urban Environment
The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Engineering, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hinar Abu El-Magd, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, organized an awareness seminar entitled "The Role of Community Participation in Preserving the Urban Environment." This seminar was held as part of the Faculty's commitment to spreading environmental awareness and promoting a culture of social responsibility among students.
The seminar was presented by Dr. Noha Ibrahim, who addressed the importance of community participation in preserving the urban environment and improving the quality of life in cities. She also explained the role of individuals and institutions in supporting positive practices that contribute to preserving the civilized appearance of cities and reducing environmental problems.
The seminar also emphasized the importance of spreading environmental awareness among different segments of society and encouraging students to actively participate in community initiatives and activities aimed at preserving the urban environment and achieving sustainable development.
