Water and Electricity Conservation Awareness Campaign

As part of its efforts to promote environmental awareness and foster a culture of sustainability, the Faculty of Engineering organized an awareness campaign on campus to promote water and electricity conservation. The campaign was conducted under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hinar Abu El-Magd, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Engineering students implemented the campaign, educating their peers about the importance of conserving water and electricity and the necessity of preserving natural resources. They provided a range of guidelines, including ensuring water sources are properly sealed, reporting any leaks, switching off unused lights and electrical appliances, and utilizing natural light to reduce electricity consumption.

This campaign reflects the Faculty's commitment to supporting environmental initiatives and strengthening its community role, as well as developing students' awareness of the importance of resource conservation, thus contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals.
