The Faculty of Information Systems and Computer Sciences at October 6 University organized an orientation event for new students on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in Lecture Hall 3108 (Tourism Faculty Building).
The event was attended by Professor Dr. Nabila Mohamed Hassan, Dean of the Faculty; Professor Dr. Ahmed Saleh, Vice Dean; along with several faculty members, academic staff, and the Director of the Quality Assurance Unit.
The activities of the event included an introduction to the faculty's programs and study system, presented by Professor Dr. Hossam El-Bahiery, Head of the Information Systems Department and Coordinator of the Network Technology Program. Additionally, an overview of quality assurance activities was given by Dr. Mohamed Eissa, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit. The academic advising system was presented by Dr. Mamdouh Fathallah, Head of the Academic Advising Committee, and information on student activities and services provided to students was delivered by the Faculty Youth Coordinator, Dr. Ahmed Emad.
The event commenced at 9:00 AM and concluded at 1:00 PM.
