In an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and optimism, the Faculty of Information Systems and Computer Science – October 6 University organized the Orientation Day for first-year students.
The event reaffirmed the Faculty’s mission of supporting its students from the very beginning. Members of the Faculty staff and the Teaching Assistants delivered welcoming speeches, introducing students to the Faculty’s academic programs and activities:
- Prof. Dr. Nabila Mohamed Hassan – Dean of the Faculty
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hossam El-Behairy – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Head of the Information Systems Department
- Dr. Mohamed Eassa – Head of the Quality Assurance Unit
- Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Sattar – Head of the Basic Sciences Department and Academic Advisor for the First Year
- Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Rashad – Youth Pioneer of the Faculty
- Eng. Mahmoud Hammad – ICPC Community Coordinator
The Orientation Day also included an introductory tour highlighting student activities, services, and the advanced laboratories that distinguish the Faculty, giving students the opportunity to experience the learning and innovation environment within the University campus.
The Faculty extends its sincere appreciation to all members of the Faculty staff and the Teaching Assistants for their active participation in this event.
