October 6 University participates in the 100 million trees initiative
Planting 550 fruitful trees on the university campus
  October 6 University, in cooperation with the Hengmelha Foundation for Sustainable Development, in order to reduce the risks of climate change and global warming, participated in launching a community initiative to confront climate changes, during a university symposium attended by many faculty members and students, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Gamal Samy, President of October 6 University. And Prof.Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, in the presence of Eng. Muhammad Al-Qabtan.The College of Medicine and Surgery also participated in this campaign
Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, announced that the university has received 550 fruitful trees, to start afforestation of different areas on campus, after a meeting with a number of deans and vice-faculties.
