The Faculty of Medicine and Surgery participated in a symposium organized by the University's Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, coordinated by the Central Human Rights Committee, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Amr Nadim, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Azzat El-Gharib, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The Faculty participated in a symposium entitled "Intellectual Property between Education and Scientific Research." The symposium was attended by a number of faculty members, support staff, and students from the MSG Medical Sustainability Team, affiliated with the Faculty's Community Service Committee. The symposium was opened by Prof. Dr. Hesham Temraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. Prof. Dr. Yasser Gadallah, Dean of the Intellectual Property Institute at Helwan University, also spoke at the symposium.
