Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Amr Nadim, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Azza El-Gharib, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Library Committee, headed by Dr. Ahmed Marouf, Lecturer of General Surgery, organized a symposium entitled "Ethics of Scientific Research." Prof. Dr. Hesham Aziz, Professor of Public Health and Member of the Faculty's Research Ethics Committee, delivered a lecture at the Faculty Council Hall. The symposium was attended by Prof. Dr. Iman Sharaf, Head of the Pediatrics Department and Head of the Research Ethics Committee, Prof. Dr. Azza El-Gharib, Dr. Ahmed Marouf, and a number of faculty members and final-year students.
