The Faculty of Medicine and Surgery participated in the celebration of the launch of Environment Week and honored the student teams that participated in the activities of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the university level during the 2024/2025 academic year.
The celebration was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Temraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. Ten students from the MSG Medical Sustainability Team, affiliated with the Faculty's Community Service Committee, were honored and given certificates of appreciation. Prof. Dr. Azza El-Gharib, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, then moved to the university campus to begin the Environment Week and Afforestation activities. Fruit tree seedlings were planted in the Volunteer House area on the street opposite the College of Pharmacy.
