Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of October 6 University, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Yasser Dakrory, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Eman El Azizy, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Temraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the 20th Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery was held. The conference was chaired by Prof. Dr. Amr Nadim, Dean of the Faculty, and the conference vice presidents were Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Azza El Gharib, Vice Dean for Community Affairs and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Dalia Hussein Helmy, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research. The conference rapporteur was Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fouad El Demery, Head of the Anatomy Department. The conference was organized by Iris, a leading company in organizing medical conferences. The conference was held under the theme "Improving Health Care. Empowering Lives." The opening session began with a salutation of the audience, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran. Scientific sessions were held in parallel in the VIP Pharmacy and Engineering halls over the course of Wednesday and Thursday, May 7 and 8. Members of the organizing company, assisted by a group of interns, students from the Medical Sustainability Team of the College's Community Service Committee, and students from the Union, organized and registered the attendees. The conference hosted a group of medical professors from various specialties from all universities in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The scientific content was rich, diverse, and informed by the latest medical information. The conference also featured an exhibition of products from pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
