Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Amr Nadim, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Azza El-Gharib, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty's Community Service and Environmental Development Committee, in partnership with the Hospital's Drug Information Center, headed by Dr. Ahmed Essam, and the Faculty of Pharmacy, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Refaat, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Samir Othman, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the Egyptian Drug Authority, organized an awareness seminar on the rational use of antibiotics. Members of the Egyptian Drug Authority presented at the seminar. The seminar was followed by an awareness campaign on the same topic targeting patients visiting the hospital's outpatient clinics. The campaign was carried out by the MSG student team affiliated with the Faculty's Community Service Committee. Brochures containing useful information about the campaign topic were distributed to the target group.
