Medical convoy to Abo-Haddad village- Giza Governorate.

    On Tuesday 7th of December 2017, Faculty of Medicine, October 6 University shared in a medical convoy to  Abo-Haddad village- Giza Governorate. The convoy comprised almost all medical specialties including, Internal medicine, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Ear- nose and throat (E.N.T), obstetrics and gynecology, Orthopedic, Urology and pediatrics. Staff and students from Faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Applied Medical Sciences and  Dentistry  participated in the convoy.  The convoy provided diagnostic and therapeutic services to 560 patients, part of them were referred to October 6 University Teaching Hospital for further investigations and surgical procedures. Third and fifth level Medical students and Cube Family shared in the organization of patients in the clinics under supervision of Prof.Dr. Dalia Roshdy the head of Internal Medicine Department. Also, they shared in history taking, measuring the vital signs and distributing awareness flyers about drug abuse and some parasitic diseases prepared under supervision of Prof. Azza El Ghareeb Head of paracitology Department and Prof. Nabila Mostafa Head of Pharmacology Department. The Faculty of Pharmacy shared by supplementing and handling the needed drugs.  Questionnaires were distributed by the participants to evaluate the patient’s satisfaction and their needs.
