On Tuesday 8th of May 2018, Faculty of medicine, October 6 University arranged a workshop in collaboration with the Egyptian Knowledge bank entitled “Effective academic writing”. The workshop was attended by group of staff from both Faculty of medicine and faculty of Pharmacy at the conference hall of the University Library. The workshop was presented by Dr. Lea Gagnon a neuroscience specialist from Montreal University. She discussed in an interaction way, the method of constructing phrases and the proper scientific editing that help paper acceptance and publication in international journals .
