The course deals with the basic principles of Library & Information System, the student will be able to recognize the information resources, the traditional and electronic libraries also the different data bases and the methods of research.
MU103: Human Rights
This course aims to help students gain the knowledge about some basic concepts of human rights. The fundamental information about the social and economic rights. The human rights in Islam religion. Learn the essential conceptions of international concepts of human rights. Acquire students the right of fairing justice. Develop scientific approaches that meet community needs considering economic, environmental, social, ethical, and safety requirements.
MU105: Computer I
This course gives a brief introduction to the construction of the computer as CPU, storage devices, output and input devices, different types of drives. The students must be aware of counting systems such as binary, decimal, hexadecimal and octal system, and identify different types of cable connection. Applications software and operating systems. the practical part include using different kinds of computer applications and other related technical tools, using software to create letters, sending emails, using the keyboard and mouse, using Microsoft Word for typing documents, setting up an email account to send and receive emails.
Design and set up a spreadsheet with basic functions and graphs. understanding Word Processing, using Internet and operate a computer in a network environment. MFANA205 General Anatomy for Technologists
This course deals with general anatomy of human body where basic knowledge helps to clarify and is of importance to an understanding of the clinical disorders that may arise. The course comprises a brief anatomical knowledge about the surface anatomy, the Musculo-skeletal system, the limbs, the abdomen, the pelvis, the chest, the circulation and the nervous system.
MFBACT306 Basics of Microbiology
The course aimed to study the structure, classification and growth of the microorganisms of medical importance in addition to the main principle of bacterial genetics, antimicrobial chemotherapy and pathogenesis of bacterial infections. In the practical part the student should practice the basic methods of isolation of bacteria and the identification of common bacteria by staining, culture and biochemical reactions while applying laboratory safety measures.
MFBIM314 Biomathematics
Application of mathematical, statistical and computational methods in biology. Mathematical topics include indices and logarithms and their applications in biological growth and decay.
