Based on an invitation from the organizing committee of the conference, which is held under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Abdel Hadi Nassif, President of the Clinical Dental Society, and the honorary presidency of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled Abu Al-Fadl, former Chairman of the Dentistry Sector Committee, and the approval of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Gamal Sami, President of October 6 University, encouraged the Faculty of Dentistry to participate as an academic partner in the conference for the first time. The Faculty participated as follows:
1- The university’s logo was placed on all conference posters and social media outlets for the exhibition and conference activities.
2- Professor Dr. Mohsen Abi Al-Hassan was chosen as the honorary president of this edition, and the college was honored at the opening ceremony.
3- A very large number of college students participated in the conference after the conference administration offered a special discount on participation for college students and internship doctors.
4- The conference administration invited all faculty members at the college to participate free of charge in the conference and they received certificates of attendance for the hours approved for attendance.
5- The college’s top students participated in the IDEX Cup competition in which (25) public and private universities participated. For the second time in a row, the College of Dentistry - October 6 University won first place and the conference cup, with financial prizes for the students amounting to 50,000 (fifty thousand pounds) which they received at the closing ceremony. The conference won the admiration of all the deans of the participating colleges.
