The Faculty of Education, October 6 University, celebrated the anniversary of the glorious October War victory on an enthusiastic national day under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of the University, Professor Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Provost of Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Roqaya Shalabi, Dean of the Faculty of Education. It organized a symposium entitled “October of Victory and Peace.” The symposium was hosted by Major General Nasr .

The symposium began with the national anthem and some enthusiastic patriotic songs, which were presented by the faculty’s joy-making choir , led by Dr. Sarah Essam, and then a speech by Dean Prof. Dr. Roqaya Shalabi, who emphasized that great epic in which our armed forces were victorious even though it was reported that this victory was almost impossible.
